2012 marks the 4th year we are organizing the Electromobile race, which became a tradition in downtown Miskolc. The task for the teams of 4 or 5 is to design and create a vehicle which is driven by PSR 18 Li2 cordless drills manufactured by Bosch.
The number of teams registering for the event has increased over the years, both from domestic universities and colleges from nearby countries as well. This reflects on the fact, that working together with universities pays off, and the students are looking for challenges, that enriches them with experience which will motivate them in their journey of becoming an engineer on the long run.
We have recognized the importance of the upcoming engineer-generation years ago, this is why keep it our main goal to appreciate and support the students majoring in engineering. As a multinational company we also need to take part in making becoming an engineering appealing, and with our creative programs we assure that students can get as close to real engineering as it gets.
The vehicles are evaluated in 6 different categories, which are their long and short track acceleration, technological solutions, and their beauty and design, which is voted for by the public. The winner of the race will wear the “Best Electromobile of the Bosch Group” for a year.
The race of the environment friendly cars, the huge Electromobile race, and the spectacular open air programs for the whole family is organized apropos of Earth Day.
